1935 Pampanga Dental Convention and Young Dr. Benjamin L. Lagman Sr.

The Photograph captures a moment of professional congregation held on May 10, 1935, during the Pampanga Dental Convention. This event was a joint venture between the Pampanga Dental Association and the Pampanga Post Graduate Study Club, that took place in the Guagua Central Elementary School Assembly Hall. 

In the photo, a group of Pampanga Dentists from around Pampanga province, are arranged in a formal pose. They are dressed in the fashion of the time – men in Filipino Barong & Suits with ties or bowties and women in modest dresses indicative of the professional nature of the event.

Dr. Benjamin L. Lagman Sr., identifiable as a young boy on the far left side at the front of the group, is part of this historical assembly. Given his described youth, he stands out among the others.
